About LNSC (LNSC Recruitment)
A statute approved by the Lagos State House of Assembly in 2016 established the Lagos Neighborhood Safety Corps (LNSC), a uniformed security organization, to assist the police and other security services in maintaining the state’s law and order.
Moreover, they may be found in each of Lagos’ 57 LGAs and LCDAs. Furthermore, the members of the LNSC are indigenous locals from the various LGA/LCDAs where they work. This approach maximizes local information gathering and community policing.
In addition, having members who are familiar with their local communities helps to build trust and foster positive relationships between the LNSC and the residents. Likewise, this local knowledge and insight can be crucial in identifying and resolving security concerns.
Nevertheless, despite these advantages, the LNSC must still be properly trained and equipped to effectively fulfill its duties and responsibilities. Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Corps Recruitment Update
