Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS) is a federal government scheme. Each worker has an IPPIS Number. The scheme is mainly to curtail the expenses of the federal government.

The scheme also deals with the payment of government workers. It does not allow the government to pay more than the available amount of workers.
